Stainless Steel Cleaner (Chemical FREE)

Tin Kettle

Do you always have finger marks over your stainless steel kettle, toaster or fridge? 


Here is a simple tip to keep them clean and with a lovely shine.


1 cup Water

1 cup of White Vinegar


Put all the ingredients in a spray bottle and get busy with your cloth.

For extra shine, try applying a small amount of olive oil applied with a paper serviette.

Microwave Cleaner (Chemical FREE)

Sauces exploding or the cover has slipped off your food - Microwave spills are a fact of life!


Here is a chemical free recipe that will make cleaning a breeze.


1/2 cup Water

1 Lemon- large size


  • Place the water in a microwave proof bowl.

  • Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice into the water.

  • Cut the skin into large strips and place the skin in the water.

  • Place in the microwave and heat on high for 3 minutes.

  • Once finished , leave in the microwave for a further 6 minutes

  • Remove the bowl from the microwave (be careful as the dish will be very hot) and wipe your microwave out.

Glass Cleaner (Chemical FREE)

Ready to pour that delicious drink and you hold the glass up only to see finger marks and streaks on the glass! - Sound familiar?

This recipe is a chemical glass cleaning recipe that can be either used as a spray or to immerse your glass fully in a bowl of liquid.


2.5 cups Water

2 tablespoons White Vinegar

1/2 cup Ethanol


  • Put all the ingredients in a spray bottle and shine with a soft cloth

  • Alternatively you can put the mixture in a large bow and immerse the entire glass in the mixture.

How to clean you Eggs

Did you know:

You should never wash your eggs before storing them.

Egg shells absorbs anything it comes into contact with so if you wash them, whatever is in the water will be absorbed into the egg.

To clean your eggs, simply use a small brush or a light cloth over them.
